Pressure to Act from NIS2 and Machinery Regulation

The digitalisation of industrial plants and machinery is advancing rapidly. At the same time, regulatory requirements are tightening: The NIS2 Directive obliges operators of critical and important facilities to demonstrate risk management of their OT infrastructure. The EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230 introduces new requirements for the digital security of machines and their interfaces from 2027 onwards. Many companies know that action is needed - but not exactly where. A structured status quo assessment is the first and decisive step to prioritize risks and deploy resources effectively.

How long does the audit take?
The exact timeframe depends on the number of elements to be checked and the complexity of your infrastructure. The exact process will be defined in the initial meeting at the trade fair or in a follow-up meeting.
Who is the MVO audit intended for?
The MVO Gap Audit is primarily aimed at machine and plant manufacturers as well as producers who sell products on the EU market and want to prepare for the requirements of the Machinery Regulation 2023/1230.
Who is the NIS2 audit intended for?
The NIS2 Gap Audit is aimed at operators of industrial plants and companies that fall under the scope of the NIS2 Directive or want to check whether they are affected.

The Gap Audits offered by CCNet are status quo assessments and consulting services. They expressly do not represent a formal CE certification, a declaration of conformity within the meaning of the Machinery Regulation 2023/1230, or a guarantee of legal conformity. The results serve as a basis for decision-making and structured preparation for further measures.
